In these remaining couple of weeks, I’m working to wrap up my work projects, gather and prepare teaching materials for the trip and pack. However, my priority is to stay focused on the purpose of this trip….
The Great Commission:
Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age. Matthew 28:19-20
Realizing that I’m on the path of My Father’s choosing and that He is and will equip me with all I need to fulfill His plan and purpose, brings much comfort and freedom. I’ve found over the years that life is best when it’s lived on purpose, and purpose begins with God. Realizing that God has created me for a reason, that He has a divine calling in which He is leading me means I must trust and obey Him and His Sovereignty in all things. The good news is that this applies to all of us who are Christ followers.
As I close this post, please keep me and the team (Andy, Joan, Robert, Brent and Don) in your prayers as we travel….8,762 miles…. a little over 25 hours…to live life on purpose for the Lord.
Next post….Departure day, May 30th!!
Love and blessings..kim
