Thailand 2014 Revisited

I’m so excited to share with you an update of what’s happening in Thailand since my return on June 8th.   What a blessing this trip turned out to be and I’m especially appreciative of the financial and spiritual support you have provided to send me to Thailand this year.  I hope to be able to return in the near future to serve and share Christ.  Until that time, please join me in prayers for our missionaries and the people we were able to minister to in Thailand.

A great prayer reminder comes from one of my mission teammates, Steve:

“We need to continue to pray for all the children that we had the privilege of ministering to. We don’t know the struggle or the persecution, some of these little ones may be facing, but God does. He has promised to care for His own and that no one will snatch them out of His hand.”

Below are the messages and pictures from our Thailand missionaries, Rob and Lori Pengra, regarding what has happened in the past couple of weeks:

Hi Guys,
Just wanted you to be able to share with the team the results so far of your visit.  You were such an encouragement to the house church at Mae Yue!  With the gifts you gave them, they have made these beautiful signs to lead people to their church. They have also begun to dig holes for their posts for the building!  They pray each morning out on the land that the Lord will provide.  They are having church members “buy” posts for 2500 Baht each.(about $77 USD).

Pastor Ajarn Q just sent me a note with these pictures. “These children came and they believe in Jesus”. Praise Him!

The Great Commission

“Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”   Matthew 28:18-20
